Pocket Treasures

So, its cold this week here in Texas. Next week could be a completely different story. But yesterday I got out my "heavy" jacket for the first time this "Winter" Season. I found a bunch of stuff in my pocket ;) I wish I had found some money, that is always nice. But I did find something that made me smile and tear up at the same time. Here is a look at what I found in my jacket pocket.

 A pink and zebra baby hat - this is what made me smile and tear up. It doesn't fit Miss Addison's head anymore because she is a big girl now....sniffle sniffle

Strawberry Chapstick - I like Cherry better, but this will work!!

$10 in Kohl's Cash - Unused of course....darn it!!!

Kohl's Receipt - Hmmm....what did I buy again??

Kohl's Coupon - 30% off!!! I could use that right about now!!

And 8 cents - Yea that'll buy me something good!!!

Thanksgiving Plans

What does everyone have planned for Thanksgiving? We are staying home this year and eating dinner with my husband's family. No big travel plans. We are in charge of cooking the turkeys (we fry them YUM YUM), stuffing, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pies and homemade applesause (bc my kids and I LOVE it!!). Then I am planning on getting up super early to go shopping on Black Friday with my Step-Mom.

This weekend I am working on 3 new tutus, so make sure to check out the store next week!!! I already have 1 tutu in the store...want to see it!!!!

New Food Friday

I'm back with my first New Food Friday. We tried this recipe on Sunday and we LOVED it!!!! I made some lobster cakes and hush puppies to go with it and it all came out so tasty!!!

You can find the recipe HERE. I didn't do any lemon zest and I used limes instead, because that is what we had. I should have added some Tony's or Slap Your Mama.....but I forgot :/ Next time for sure though!!! 

I am going to try and redecorate my blog this weekend. Its needs a revamp badly!!! And I'll be back next week with some more fun stuff!!!

Blog Change Up

I decided to change my "business" blog to a personal blog. I hope that you will enjoy it and don't worry...I'll still post some sneak peeks from my store for you :)

Now I just need to redesign my blog and figure out how to change all the fonts and stuff!!! LOL 

I will be back with New Food Friday, but maybe sooner if I can think of something good to blog about!!!

Tulle

It seems as though tulle has consumed my weekend....and my living room for that matter. But I am hoping that you will like the end results ;) I have fun new things I am adding to my store this weekend!! Now off to finish up my projects and take some pictures for the store.

Happy Halloween

I am so excited for Halloween!!!! My youngest daughter is old enough to dress up and enjoy this holiday!!! Last year was only 3 months old when Halloween rolled around. We just stayed home and passed out candy to the trick-or-treaters, but this year WE ARE the trick-or-treaters. And YES, I know that I am way more excited than she is, and I don't care haha!!! She is dressing up as Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street and today she had a Halloween party in her class at daycare and got to wear her Halloween costume. 

Doesn't she just make the cutest Abby Cadabby EVER?!!! Okay, I may be a little biased....but still!
